Aims & Objectives

In this module, you will:

  • Understand the limitations of Generative AI in regard to:
    • Algorithmic assumptions,
    • Hallucinations, and
    • Biases in training data
  • Understand the ethical and privacy risks of using Generative AI

When you finish the module, you will be able to:

  • Use Generative AI responsibly to identify bias and inaccuracies
  • Engineer your prompts to minimise bias and inaccuracies
  • Assess the credibility of output via the CRAAP Test
  • You will be able to outline the ethical and privacy risks of using Generative AI, and make informed choices on using the services and tools responsibly
