Contact the librarian for the School of Medical and Health Sciences:
Make an appointment. Note that appointments will be made with the librarian on roster at a particular time, not necessarily the SMHS librarian. To make a direct appointment with Amy, especially if you are a research student, please send an email (Attn: Amy) with details about your request.
Contact the Senior Learning Adviser for the School of Medical & Health Sciences:
Peer support in the Library: peer assistants deliver just-in-time assistance when you need to know what to do, or where to click, in order to solve learning technology issues as they arise, and let you get on with your work.
Come along to a learning support drop-in session for help with your assignments, or if you have a query about academic skills, study skills, research, or referencing. No appointment is needed: just "drop in" to the session and meet with a learning adviser or librarian. If you would like feedback on a specific assessment, bring your assessment instructions and a draft of your work. Note that the intent of these sessions is to give quick feedback, generally no more than ten minutes.
Session times (Joondalup campus):
|Monday||10.00 - 11.00am||JO 31.224|
|Tuesday||1.30 - 2.30pm||JO 31.224|

Sessions run during teaching weeks, starting 21 February 2022. A handful of sessions will be held in the Learning & Careers Hub due to a room booking conflict. The peer assistant on schedule will be able to direct you to the correct location.
Mount Lawley and Bunbury session times will be available on the Library Workshops page. For assistance outside of these times, please send an email or make an appointment.
