Requests for copies must be made in accordance with the Copyright Act 1968.
The main points are that you agree to;
Fair Use for copies;
1 chapter or 10%, whichever is greater from one book
1 article per journal from the same volume/issue.
Section 50;
under Section 50 of the Copyright Act 1968, a library may request another library to copy a 'reasonable portion' of a work to supply to a library user for the purposes of research or study or for use by a member of parliament. A library may request a copy for inclusion in their collection.
Section s49:
When you place a request for a copy, you make the following declaration as required under s49 of the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth): I declare that I require a reproduction of the work described on this form for the purpose of research or study and will not use it for any other purpose.
