Manage Research Data: ECU Data Management Plan

Who needs to lodge a DMP (Data Management Plan)?

All research activity conducted at ECU should be supported by a robust plan for the management of data collected and generated throughout the project

undefined

Data Management Plans (DMPs) should be living documents that are added to and refined as you move through your project.

There are now two pathways to the Data Management Plan at ECU, for new projects via the Research Ethics Management System (REMS) or directly if you have a current project.

Further Information about ECU's Data Management Plan through either pathway and the FAQs document are available here

Data Folder Structure

ECU's Information Management and Archive Service (IMAS) has recommended the following top level file structure for use while the research project is in process. Arranging your documents in line with the structure facilitates the easy transfer of all project files to IMAS at project completion from the ECU provisioned SharePoint for your project.
