Research Online's Author Dashboard

If you have provided Research Online with the Open Access versions of your published papers etc., you will find this an exciting feature.

The Author Dashboard is a personalized reporting tool for authors with works published in Digital Commons. As an author, you can easily access your dashboard to view up-to-date download information for every work you publish, as well as global insights into the sources of readership.

The Dashboard will quickly provides readership and download statistics and visualisation for a body of work or for individual articles. Explore recent data, all-time, or choose a custom date range. You also have options to share your data with others and export statistics for use in external applications.


To Access the Author Dashboard

  • click on My Account in and register if you haven't done so before
  • once you have signed in, click on DASHBOARD TOOLS to view the readership (on a world map) and the table of hits and download stats of your open access articles - select the date range of the statistics you wish to view (see top right hand corner)
  • if you have supplied Research Online with the open access versions of your articles but can't see them on your author dashboard, please email us as it may be that the emails which have been set for each of your articles varies from the email you have registered.
