Colleague recommendations & Personal reading list ×

Using recommended journals

Which titles do the experts recommend?

  • which journals have your colleagues, supervisors, research group or mentors recommended?

  • Recommendations from experts in a subject area are always very useful - you may need to do a little research to see which journal titles are prominent in your topic

  • the ERA Journal Lookup List - available at ECU through the Research Activity System (RAS) portal

Are there discipline specific lists of journals you should look at?

For example:

Which titles have been useful in your research?

  • which journals have you personally found must useful when researching your topic?

  • which journals fit your topic? What sort of format, style and types of articles they are interested in?
