Academic Staff - Reading List: Adding readings from a Citation (RIS) file

Adding Readings from a Citation (RIS) file

Citations, in the form of RIS files, can be generated from EndNote, RefWorks, or other referencing software and imported into your Blackboard Reading List.  Please be aware that ECU supports EndNote and instructions for exporting citations from various sources into EndNote can be found in the ECU Introduction to EndNote X8 guide.

Alternatively,  you can export a citation directly from the ECU Library Catalogue to produce the RIS file for import into your Blackboard Reading List.  Instructions for exporting citations from the ECU Library catalogue into EndNote can also be found in the ECU Introduction to EndNote X8 guide.

Instructions for creating RIS files from the ECU Library catalogue can be found here.

How to Export your citations from EndNote into RIS files can be found here.

Instructions for importing your citations as RIS files into your Reading List can be found here.
