A guide to assist staff and students undertaking systematic reviews

Librarians are available to assist ECU staff and students with:

  • formulating a search strategy
  • finding existing systematic reviews
  • identification of relevant databases and grey literature sources
  • translating searches across different databases, including selection of database subject terms and keywords, structuring a search, database syntax and search tips, saving searches and setting up alerts.
  • reviewing search strategies and providing general feedback
  • managing search results (e.g. EndNote)
  • documenting and reporting the search strategy (e.g. PRISMA)
