APA 6th Referencing: Unpublished Papers & Manuscripts

Unpublished & Informally Published Works: General Format

A reference for an unpublished or informally published work includes the author, date, title and source or status:

Author, A. A. (Year). Title of manuscript. Unpublished manuscript.

In addition, if a university is cited, then give the university name, city, and country. If the university is in the United States, replace the country with the two-letter abbreviation for the state.
